I met the Lord in 2018 while I was a junior in high school. A friend from school was getting baptized and invited me to watch. I had never heard of baptism before and asked my
mother a bunch of questions. My friend continued to invite me every Wednesday and I shortly realized my need for God. In December of 2018 I was saved, but thought that because I had the Lord nothing bad will happen. A few days later it was my birthday and my grandfather has passed away that morning. It broke my heart, I thought I was being punished. As I continued to go on Wednesday nights the Lord showed me His faithfulness and goodness and got baptized that February.

Because of how the Lord used Student Ministry in my life, my heart towards the student ministry has continued to grow as a student and now as a volunteer. I am now a junior at Dallas Baptist University studying Clinical Psychology with the hope of working in a rehabilitation for drugs and alcohol. Dallas Baptist University has challenged and grown me in my walk with the Lord, my community, and my faith. I also love the communications side of things like graphic design and photography. I love dancing, being around my community, and serving those around me.

My hope for Stonegate is that we would continue to be a place that would show grace and love to those who come to Stonegate. I pray that people would learn something new
about the Lord daily and will be challenged in their faith. I pray that we as a church strive to serve God, each other, and our ministries.
