Laura Ross
I was born and raised in Arlington, Texas, in a loving Christian home where I’ve always known the presence of God. At 14, I made the life-changing decision to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior, setting me on a path of striving to serve Him faithfully in everything that I do. I later ventured to Baylor University, where I studied Studio Art and met my now-husband, Adam. We tied the knot in 2011, packed our bags for Tallahassee, FL, and I launched an exciting career in wedding and family photography.
We welcomed our first son in 2013 and soon after returned to Texas, where our youngest son was born in 2015. It was a high risk pregnancy, followed by a rocky few years, but it was during this chapter that I felt a divine nudge to swap my camera for a pen, leading me away from photography and into the world of creative writing. This was also when we began attending Stonegate, and I am forever grateful for this warm and welcoming community that has embraced us.
In my spare time, you can find me immersed in a good book, typing away on my latest story, or running while listening to one of my many favorite podcasts. I also enjoy cheering on my boys at their many baseball games!
My hope for Stonegate KIDS is that we can partner with parents to help children meet and grow in their relationship with Jesus. I desire to help create an environment where kids feel safe, loved, and inspired to explore their faith.
