I grew up in Mansfield just down the road and began attending church regularly when I was in 6th grade. Jesus soon after saved me from my sins and began the work of conforming me into his image. I went to Texas A&M and graduated in 2009 with my bachelors in pre-physical therapy kinesiology and a minor in psychology.
During my college years, God did a great work in my life and altered the direction that I was heading in some amazing ways. After college I went overseas as a missionary/teacher in a small post-soviet country near Turkey and Iran. During that time, the Lord grew a passion within me for the local church, and for the power of community in homes. Along the way, I met the love of my life, Shelby, and together we now have four beautiful children, Penelope, Abraham, Madeline, and Woodrow. I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, growing things, reading – all the while, pursing my Masters in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Seminary.
My hope for Stonegate is that we would be a people that are fully satisfied in Jesus. As we grow and are rooted in Him, I pray that we would be transformed and be a part of the transformation of our cities. I hope that Stonegate will be known as a place of deep and profound healing, rest, encouragement and discipleship within the south DFW.
