Kiersten Willborn

Intern

I grew up not far from here in Maypearl, Texas. I started coming to Stonegate after my sister was invited to youth events which led to me also getting involved in youth and on Sundays. Stonegate was the first church where I found community and felt at home at. Attending Stonegate helped me grow so much in my walk with the Lord and I got saved after youth camp my sixth grade year.

I recently graduated from Maypearl high school and will be attending DBU in the fall to study clinical psychology. The Lord has put it on my heart to work with kids especially those dealing with medical difficulties and I plan to eventually go into clinical pediatric psychology.

I love being outdoors and hiking or ax throwing, but I have lots of indoor hobbies like crocheting and embroidering as well. I also enjoy powerlifting and music and play a few instruments, but one of my favorite things to do is play games with family or friends.

My hope for Stonegate is that it will continue to be a church that reaches out to people and provides a close knit community despite the growth. My prayer is that Stonegate will continue to make people feel welcomed and known and show them the love of Christ.
