Klayson Bacon
I am a born and raised Texan! I have a twin sister and amazing God-fearing parents. I grew up in Prosper, TX a suburb of Dallas, where my family was connected in a Southern Baptist church. It was there that I came to know Christ in my grade school years. I was very involved in my church’s youth group growing up, where I met Zach Reynolds, who became my youth pastor, and lifelong mentor.
In 2022 I had the opportunity to be a group leader at Well Week. That is where I first got plugged into Stonegate. It was an awesome experience and fueled my desire to serve the local church in a greater capacity. I was afforded the opportunity to join Stonegate staff as an intern in the Spring of 2024.
I am very much an outdoors person. My favorite pastimes are spending time with the Lord surrounded by his creation. I grew up hunting and fishing at a young age, and I love to take the time to unplug and spend some time outdoors. I also love all things sports, football being my favorite, and I am a die-hard Cowboys fan!
My hope for Stonegate is that our students will grow in their relationship with Christ, and learn to share the gospel in their communities, and grow the kingdom of God!
