I was born and raised in Carlsbad, NM by two loving parents and I am the oldest of 3 daughters. My Mom was our church’s secretary and my Dad was an elder of the church. If the church doors were open, we were there. I participated in youth mission trips to Mexico each summer, and was highly active in the youth group. I was baptized at age 11 at Skyridge Youth Camp in New Mexico. I attended Lubbock Christian University and earned my degree in Business Administration.
It was in college I began my career in banking, as I have always loved working with numbers. I moved to the metroplex in 2007 and continued my work in bank operations and management. After having a family, work/life balance became a struggle as the demands of my job pulled me away from my role as a mother.
After 21 years in the banking industry, I made the difficult decision to leave the corporate world, and focus on my family. I enjoyed the time I had at home with my family, but after 2 years, my kids were becoming more independent and felt like it was time for me to get back into the workforce. I thought it would be an easy transition back, but the doors in banking I thought would open, just didn’t. Little did I know, God had a different plan for me. In 2023, God opened the door through a friend at BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) and I interviewed for the position at Stonegate Church. A few months and a lot of prayers later, I began a new chapter working as the Finance Coordinator for Stonegate Church. I know that God has been at work in my life, preparing to bring me here at just the right time – His time.
My husband, Brian, and I met at church and were married in 2022. We have two boys, Brock and Brody. We attend Mansfield Church of Christ where I’m an active member of the Praise Team, Women’s Ministry, and Home Groups. I enjoy singing, traveling, hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with my family.
