I have grown up knowing the goodness of God thanks to a family that has consistently put their trust in Him. I gave my life to Christ the day before I turned 13 and, by the time I graduated College, had grown to love missions and working with kids. I went to Texas A&M University and participated in many avenues of service through the Aggies For Christ. I taught upper elementary in Irving, TX for four years and loved watching the lightbulb moments in my kids’ when they “got it.” The Lord led me to Seoul, South Korea for two years to teach 5th grade at an international school. That time greatly deepend my reliance on God and helped me recognize the joy in my neediness of Him.

I came back to Texas and began working as the Communications Director at CHRIST Church Irving. I met my wonderful husband, Jason, in 2016. We married and moved to Midlothian in 2017. The Lord has blessed us with two amazing children, Liam and Hazel, and we often stare at them in awe of God’s goodness.  We began attending Stonegate in August of 2021 and started serving with Stonegate KIDS in January 2022.

My hope for Stonegate KIDS is that we help equip parents to disciple their children from an early age. I pray that our children grow from a firm foundation in Christ and become young disciple makers- spreading the gospel throughout Ellis County as they grow.
