Serve Day

Saturday | 10.15.2022

WHAT IS SERVE DAY?

Serve Day provides you the opportunity to serve our local community and share the love of God through practical acts of kindness.

Our hope is that serving others becomes your way of seeking the welfare of the city with us. Simple acts of selfless love can open hearts to Jesus, and together we can make a difference.

We are specifically looking to serve single-parent families, widows, the elderly, foster and adoptive families, local churches, and the non-profits and organizations that support them.

I want to participate, but I am not in a group. Can I still serve?

Absolutely! If you are interested in joining a Group, we would love for you to find one. You can also use this opportunity to serve alongside your friends, family, and/or Your One.

WHO’S YOUR ONE?

If I can't attend Serve Day, how can I still participate?

If you can’t make it, there is still a part you can play.

First, be praying for the day. Pray that we have good weather, pray for friendships to be formed and deepened, and pray for lives to be changed.

You can also donate supplies to specific projects. Stop by the table in the lobby to grab the list.

What should I bring on Serve Day?

Bring any personal items you may need during your project: sunscreen, water, sneakers, a hat, etc. Your project captain will confirm any project-specific items you may need to bring: gloves, rakes, lawnmowers, tarps, work tools, etc. Work clothes are a good idea for this day.

What if it rains?

All outside projects will be either rescheduled or redirected to another project indoors. Please be flexible as we navigate all the projects.
