Chase Helms

I grew up with a dad who taught me and led me in my walk with Christ. He modeled for me what a man who is chasing after Christ looks like. Despite that, I did not accept Christ and get involved in church until my senior year of high school. I had many friends in Student ministry, and they invited me to come. I became enamored with God, and because I had many friends and leaders surrounding me I came to accept Christ.

I never thought I would end up working at a church. I never had a thought or desire to work in ministry, but the many leaders and friends around here at Stonegate encouraged me daily and inspired me to volunteer. Through that I found a passion for the mission of Stonegate; especially in Students. The Lord worked in me, and made it clear to me what He was asking of me. I began my employment in 2025. 

I love reading, playing soccer, playing board games and lifting weights. I love anything to do with Student ministry, and leading my students. 

I hope that Stonegate will grow as a place where we can provide and build environments and spaces for others to learn who Christ is, and grow in their relationship with Him. I hope that we can make younger and deeper disciples.
